Leicester Tigers have signed Perpignan prop Jerome Schuster to replace the departing Martin Castrogiovanni.bye bye Castro :’( i don’t know Schuster at all but i wonder a bit why David is leaving usap? it might be good for his game though, but i don’t know how much game time he will get.
Oh Castro please hold your head up high you have done us proud. He looked so sad at the end - I’m almost certain he was crying.
If he does this next week I absolutely will burst into tears on the terrace.
Same :’( *sniff* we will have to get a photo with him or something. Offer him cake - I can’t deal with a crying Castro.

The man who has made Toulon the richest club in world rugby told the La Province newspaper: “Martin Castrogiovanni is not within our means, it is clear.
“But Leicester are asking for too much money.
“They have seen Toulon as if it were a piggy bank, certainly to the detriment of the will of their player. Consequently, when we do not have sufficient finances to hire a player, we do not. And Toulon cannot afford Castrogiovanni.
“The case is closed. Castrogiovanni will not play in Toulon,” he added.
But I understand the figures involved have not changed since the two clubs agreed a financial settlement for Castro’s transfer several weeks ago.
And Cohen confirmed that, as far as Leicester were concerned, Castro could still be playing in Toulon next season, if the initial fee was met.
“We met with Mourad Boudjellal and we agreed a fee at that meeting,” said Cohen.
“Toulon have been unable to complete the agreement but our position remains exactly the same.
“We have identified a replacement and, if Toulon are able to complete the agreement and the replacement player becomes available, we would still be able to release Castro.
“But, at the point in time at which the replacement we have identified signs elsewhere, we will then not be in a position to release Castro. If he does end up staying at Tigers, we will be happy because he is a great player and an icon of the club.”
So.. this is all sounding quite childish and silly at this point. I do hope it won’t overshadow the match too much.
I don’t know what to think. I suddenly get the feeling it’s one of those things they say to throw us off until the deal is done, the cheque paid, sun tan bought and his bags packed. And of course we can’t believe anything coming out of the Tigers camp because they will deny anything until he’s definitely going (see George Ford) I’m nervous enough about this match as it is without this being a topic in the commentary box.
good news for Charlie and Eleanor: Martin Castrogiovanni will not join toulon next season! (Boudjellal said that before the match against stade français)
This is music to my ears :D Looks like Leicester were being too greedy, maybe that was the plan to make sure he stayed on I don’t know. If I’m honest I have no idea how it works. Though I hope that doesn’t mean he is still looking elsewhere, as rubbish as Leicester is to live in he belongs here.
I went on a bit of a screenshotting rampage at the weekend — inspired by love ;)
Toby and Castro <3 Also how Toby sent him careering into Chris Robshaw (who looked like he was being distracted by a squirrel at the time)
This warmed my heart, and simultaneously made me sad that Castro will be leaving Leicester in a few months’ time. But Flood doesn’t tend to get very affectionate, so the heart-warming was more significant. Bande de gosses (!)
(Photo 6 - Yeah… on a second viewing, I see why you were scared, PR.)
